Facilities at the Expressway

KMP Expressway is also known as Western Peripheral Expressway. It was to be completed in 2009 but work was hampered due to many constraints. Many problems arose in relation to land acquisition. KMP Expressway with Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EMP) will be able to prevent about 50 thousand big trains from entering Delhi.

The 6-lane expressway will have parking space, petrol station, police station, a trauma center, helipad, snack home, and entertainment center. There will be 8 small and 6 large bridges on this route. Along with this, 4 railway bridges, 34 underpasses, and 64 pedestrian crossings will be provided.

Air pollution will control through this expressway because this expressway will provide a bypass route to Delhi. The trains going to Delhi, especially the big trains get a bypass route because they have to face traffic jams during crossing the Delhi.
