New Delhi: Foreign Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj says that she will not contest in 2019 elections. Let us clear one thing that Sushma Swaraj said that she has cleared her intentions to the party during the press conference in Indore. She will not participate in the elections of 2019 due to unwell health reasons. But still, the final decision will be of the party itself.

Recently, External Affairs Minister and senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj have made a big statement about the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In a press conference during campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, she said that he does not wish to contest the Lok Sabha elections of 2019. But if the party decides then she will consider it.

We want to inform you here that however, this statement of Sushma Swaraj has not yet received any official statement from the party.

Significantly, Sushma Swaraj is a Lok Sabha MP from Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh. She has been unwell since last long. Just two years back, her kidney was transplanted. This is the main reason that she has denied to contest 2019 elections.

Significantly, Sushma Swaraj has been active in politics since the Emergency.  She has been the Chief Minister of Delhi. There has been a minister in the Atal government. Besides the Lok Sabha MP, Rajya Sabha MP has also been there. In 1999, he contested against Sonia Gandhi from Bellary in Karnataka. However, in this, she had to face defeat.
