Lucknow: On Thursday, UP Budget 2019 was presented in the Uttar Pradesh assembly by the Yogi Government. UP Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal made a provision of Rs 50 Crore. His aim is to provide Wi-Fi facility to colleges and universities by presenting the Uttar Pradesh Budget 2019 on Thursday.
Uttar Pradesh Government prepared a provision of ‘Wi-Fi’ facility in all the colleges and universities of the state in its budget for the new financial year. This time the Yogi Government presented a budget of 4 million 70 thousand 684 crores. It is 12 percent more than the budget of 2018-19 last year. A budget of more than 500 crores introduced for the benefit of the Yogi Government.

Furthermore, Budgetary provision has made for setting up of Indian Institute of Information Technology in the capital. This provision created for setting up engineering colleges in Mirzapur and Pratapgarh.

Agarwal said that the establishment of the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Lucknow is being done in public-private partnership (PPP). For the financial year 2019-20, there is a provision of Rs. 10 Crore for this.
He said that for the establishment of engineering colleges in Mirzapur and Pratapgarh, a provision of Rs. 8 Crore and Rs. 4 Crore respectively prepared.
For the reinforcement and development of Harkort Butler Technology University, Kanpur, there is a proposal of Rs. 11 Crore. A provision of Rs. 63 lakh made for the installation items of ‘Guru Shree Gorakhnath Research Peeth’ at Deendayal Upadhyaya, Gorakhpur University.
Not only this, a provision of Rs. 242 crores have been made in the UP Budget 2019 for providing subsidy grants to the Sanskrit schools for the purpose of promoting Sanskrit education. Rs. 30 crores proposed for grants to the aided Sanskrit schools and colleges.
Similarly, for the establishment of military schools in the UP Budget 2019, an amount of 26 crores 57 lakhs announced. There is a provision of Rs. 10 crores for the establishment of State Inter College (Children and Girls).
Also, in the schools run by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council, a provision of Rs. 300 crores made for the students of class I to VIII for a pair of free pair of shoes, two pairs of stocking and one sweater.
In addition, a budget of Rs 40 Crore made for the distribution of free uniforms to students of primary and upper primary schools.
