BSP candidate in Ramgarh in Alwar district, Laxman Singh has passed away due to a heart attack. The District Election Officer has sought a report on this. This report will be sent to the Election Commission.

Assembly elections are underway in Rajasthan but in the Ramgarh area of Alwar, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Laxman Singh has died of a heart attack this morning.

BSP candidate Laxman Singh died on Thursday morning. On receiving the information about his demise, the District Election Officer has sought a report on this. This report will be sent to the Election Commission.

Due to the demise of the candidate during the election campaign, the election of this assembly constituency can now be postponed.

Earlier, Devi Singh Patel, a BJP candidate, died on November 5 this month. She also died from a heart attack. She contested as a BJP candidate from Rajpur assembly segment of Madhya Pradesh.

The BJP had fielded Devi Singh Patel in front of Congress legislator Bala Bachchan. Patel lost to Bala Bachchan in the last election with 11 thousand votes. However, Devi Singh Patel did not file nomination for election before the demise.
