Kerala Rains Live Update: As per the today recent update, it has been warned by the weather officers in the state of Kerala that heavy rain may occur today in various districts. Due to flood in the Kerala state, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu K Palaniswami has announced that they will give financial help to all neighboring states with 5 Crore Rupees as a contribution.

Similarly, Karnataka Government has also declared that they will give worth relief materials of Rs 10 Crore to Kerala.

On Friday morning, the floodgates of Idduki dam were open in Kerala again. South-West monsoon has developed a catastrophe all over the Kerala State. According to the sources, till now around 26 peoples have died in the last 48 hours. Therefore, NDRF teams have been introduced in the entire flood-affected areas. Also, the Chief Minister of Kerala state Pinarayi Vijayan has declared the current situation as serious.

Due to heavy rain and rainwater left from Idamalyar dam have over flooded the river Periyar in the past two days. This is because Water level of several dams in the state has reached its maximum level. Now, the water has reached to the premises of Kochin International Airport which was closed at noon today. After passes of this water, the airport was open again.

A 48-member NDRF team will soon reach Wayanad to start the rescue operation with the city administrator. After that, two teams of 28-member will go to Malappuram and Kozhikode.

Our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi also spoke with the Chief Minister of Kerala. Modi and CM Pinarayi Vijayan both discussed this worst situation which has been raised due to floods in various parts of the state Kerala. Modi offered all possible help to those affected areas.

The US also said on this situation that all American Citizen must avoid visiting in all affected places of Kerala State.
